Yacht sold | Okean 55 | FLYING SPUR II

OKEAN is a Brazilian shipyard that has struggled to conquer the European market since its beginnings, and is still struggling to establish itself on the European market, whereas the United States, due to the proximity of the countries, allows for easier expansion and greater brand awareness. Today, there are very few vessels of the brand in Europe, which is why buying an OKEAN 55 has become special and unique. Currently one of the best day-boats on the French Riviera, it has been very popular with rental enquirers thanks to its amazing features such as open side balconies, hydraulic bathing platform, stabilisers for anchoring and sailing, numerous sunbathing areas etc. With a cruising speed of up to 25 knots, the OKEAN 55 has good manoeuvrability and low fuel consumption.

The Flying Spur II is very well known on the French Riviera thanks to its unique colours, which have never changed since delivery in 2021: grey hull, orange cushions. Indeed, the saffron orange cushions always easily attract everyone’s attention and the desire to jump aboard if you see her in the harbour. Many selfies and photos are taken every summer, and the OKEAN 55 is a sensation. Can you believe it’s love at first sight? That’s what happened with the new owner in June 2024, who fell in love at first sight when he saw the vessel in Port Canto.

Since the completion of the purchase, between 1 July and 30 August 2024, the vessel has combined 58 consecutive days of cruising with a total of 28 days of rental and 30 days of private use – without any technical problems. By joining our management and rental programme, we keep a close eye on all our ships, carrying out regular checks and maintaining the vessel as carefully as if it were brand new.
