WE WORK FOR YOU!
Determine a consistent price
To find the right selling price for your yacht, we thoroughly analyse the sales market to determine a fair and consistent value. This step is crucial to ensure a quick sale of your vessel.
The desirability of your yacht
It is important to take into account the influence of time on the popularity of your yacht on the sales market, which can decrease over time. We help you to keep your vessel in good condition to preserve its value and maximise its chances of selling on the market.
The devaluation of your ship
Finally, it is inevitable that your vessel will devalue over the years, unless there are special conditions. This is true of all assets. We take these factors into account to help you find the right selling price for your yacht.
Our philosophy: there is a buyer for every type of boat if its positioning is right
Once the decision has been made to put your yacht up for sale, we will choose the ideal moment and appropriate communication channels to ensure that your boat is highlighted as much as possible. Depending on our strategy, we can also stay in Off Market by presenting it only to the RIGHT PEOPLE AND DECISIONS MAKER to be as impactful as possible.
We will always keep in mind speed and efficiency as we know that the costs of maintaining a yacht in top condition can be considerable over the months.
In the competitive luxury yacht market, it is important to highlight the strengths of your vessel to attract buyers. That’s why we’ll help you evaluate potential improvements to your yacht to trigger a successful sale. Showcasing your yacht
We use all the technology at our disposal to showcase your vessel, from photo/video/drone shoots to virtual tours that allow potential buyers to explore your vessel in complete freedom with a detailed scan of the interior and exterior. We do our utmost to enhance your vessel and arouse the interest of potential buyers.
Negotiation of the sale with the Memorandum of Agreement
If the buyer wishes to proceed with the sale process, we then draw up a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), a pre-contractual document attesting to the parties’ willingness to enter into a contract. The buyer then undertakes to pay a deposit, the amount of which has been previously discussed, into an escrow account.
Sea trial and exit from the water to validate the purchase
We will then organise a sea trial and in the presence of a marine surveyor appointed at the buyer’s expense. If the buyer decides not to proceed with the purchase, he must inform us within 24 hours of the test. The sea trial and the out of water inspection are an opportunity for the buyer to check that the vessel is in good working order and that it meets his expectations and the descriptions provided by the seller.
Full audit of the vessel before signing the deed of sale
If both parties agree to finalise the sale, the signing can take place. This signature is formalised by the drafting of a document called a “bill of sale”, which is a deed of sale in due form. This document stipulates the conditions of the sale, the information on the vessel and the parties involved, as well as the terms of payment.
It is important to note that the bill of sale must be signed by both parties and must be registered with the relevant authorities, in order to make the sale valid and transfer ownership of the vessel to the buyer.
